Job Description: COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES For the DEAF, Inc.

POSITION: Personal Supports.
STATUS: Full-Time (40 hours). OR Part-Time
WHO IS A CASE MANAGER?
- A Direct Support Professional who assists Deaf or Deaf-Blind Adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.
- Assistance includes Home-based assistance with personal care, cleaning, laundry, cooking, medication management, and assistance with mail.
- Community-based assistance with medical appointments, shopping, socialization, and activities/events.
- Other duties as identified in the annual Person-Centered Plan (PCP) meeting.
EXPECTATIONS:
- Excellent time management skills, well organized, team player, positive attitude, patient and respectful.
- Annual physical and flu vaccinations are required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma with 3 years relevant experience.
- Valid MD Driver’s License with 2 points or less.
- Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).

SALARY: Starting at $18/hour.
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time: Tues-Sat. (Tues - 9a-3p; Wed. 11a-9p; Thurs. 9a-5p; Fri. 9a-5p; Sat. 10a-6p OR
- Part-Time Sat. and Sun. 10a-6p
- Some weekends required on-call.
- Position based in the Baltimore Metro area.
